My paintings bring into being an abstract language that deals with real and imagined space. I create lines and forms that imply movement and a balance between illusion and existence. I am interested in the power of surfaces that have the ability to deepen and disturb – to “surprise” reality.

Free verse imagery is utilized to alter the perception of rational space. My work explores mass and distance while exposing fragility and vulnerability through properties of tension, stability and resistance.
